Our artist Álvaro Albadalejo surprises us with this exhibition: Midnight after the desert.
The cactus refers to altered states of consciousness, a direct allusion to hallucinogenic mescaline that can be found in several species of this family. Vegetable close to the mineral and the inorganic, which moves in the territory of the living while at the same time belonging in some way to the metaphysics of the dead, the fossil, the mummy or the stone.
It can be visited in the Santa Inés exhibition hall, Seville, until November 22, 2020.
