The project ‘Écrire en blanc’ by Javier Pividal is part of the exhibition ‘A dark field’, curated by Óscar Fernández for the José Guerrero Center in Granada.
‘The work of emptying the language undertaken here is nothing but a crossing out in reverse that makes the Barthesian axiom good: to cross out and correct is not to empty but to add. ‘To write in white supposes’, in this sense, to withdraw the verb so that the presence of the writer emerges; silence the word so that the body speaks. ‘
