Polyphonic mutations
The Gas Natural Fenosa Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) opens the exhibition Las Mutaciones Polifónicas by Pablo Genovés (Madrid, 1959), one of the Spanish photographers with the greatest recognition and international projection. The sample presents a selection of 63 works, where photographs created for this exhibition coexist with works made since 2009. The exhibition also includes a selection of videos that Pablo Genovés has made from the “cut-outs” of photographs that he uses in his digital collages, in which the passage of time is the protagonist.
Genovés imagines through his artistic work a future in which the world has been flooded by waters and natural forces, and stages the battle of two forces that have always been colliding with each other, with greater or less violence: nature and culture. .
