We are pleased to inform you that the exhibition ‘REVERSE’ will open on December 2 at 7:30 p.m. in our space.
This Thursday, December 2, the project ‘Al Revés’ is inaugurated, for which we will have an exclusive meeting with the press starting at 12:30 p.m. , at the Artnueve gallery. A project worked collectively from the gallery, between the curator Jesús Alcaide and five artists (Néstor García, Christian Lagata, Daniel Llaría, Mónica Mays and Mar Reikjavik) and that is born from the text written by Joris-Karl Huysmans in 1884: ‘A rebours’. Translated into Spanish in different editions such as‘Al Revés’.

Upside down. Unwillingly. Contranatura. A movement. A gesture. An attitude. The possibility of thinking about other temporary constructions and of living in the ruins of modernity. The other way around like a bankruptcy in the systems of success and progress. Backwards as a movement against the grain. On the contrary, as the possibility of turning around a capitalism that only leads us towards collapse.
