Nuestro artista Álvaro Albaladejo traslada su proyecto ‘Medianoche después del desierto’ al museo del Huelva como parte del ciclo de exposiciones itinerantes por la comunidad andaluza del Programa Iniciarte.
Medianoche después del desierto se ubica en la convergencia de dos intensidades, como dos imágenes en colisión: la figura del cactus y el ornamento, vinculados entre sí por su potencial alucinatorio. El cactus hace referencia a los estados alterados de conciencia, una alusión directa a la mescalina alucinógena que puede encontrarse en varias especies de esta familia.

Our artist Álvaro Albaladejo moves his project Midnight after the desert to Huelva’s museum as part of the cycle of itinerant exhibitions by the Andalusian community of the Iniciarte Program.
Midnight after the desert is located at the convergence of two intensities, like two colliding images: the figure of the cactus and the ornament, linked together by their hallucinatory potential. The cactus refers to altered states of consciousness, a direct allusion to hallucinogenic mescaline that can be found in several species of this family.
